Assistant IRD Manager

We are looking for an experienced Assistant IRD Manager at a luxury hotel in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing In-Room Dining (IRD) operations, focusing on delivering exceptional service to guests. As an Assistant Manager, you will assist in the efficient management of the department, ensuring seamless guest experiences, top-quality service, and effective team leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the In-Room Dining department.
• Ensure that all guest orders are fulfilled accurately and promptly with a high level of service.
• Oversee the performance of IRD staff, ensuring they are well-trained, motivated, and provide excellent service.
• Handle guest complaints, feedback, and requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Help create and update menus, ensuring they meet guest preferences and seasonal offerings.
• Maintain inventory and ensure the department is stocked with necessary supplies.
• Enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Assist in the preparation of reports related to IRD operations and guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in an in-room dining or F&B management role, ideally within a luxury hotel.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle guest complaints and requests professionally.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for providing top-tier service.
• Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
