Career Statement – Matias Uhlig

Throughout my professional journey, I have had the opportunity to work in various countries and cultures, always with a focus on quality, innovation, and continuous evolution. From hotel openings to serving as an Executive Chef and holding leadership positions in Food & Beverage, I have developed in dynamic environments where financial indicators, team development, and customer satisfaction have been essential.

Currently, I am the Culinary Director at Capital Catering GmbH, a Messe Berlin company in the public sector. Although the organization is large, I feel that I lack the creative and strategic space I was accustomed to in previous roles. Key elements such as team culture, innovation, development, and leadership in F&B are hardly emphasized, which gives me a sense of stagnation.

What motivates me is working with passionate and creative teams. I want to contribute my experience, share knowledge, and grow alongside an organization as a Food & Beverage Director, Culinary Director, Cluster-, Regional-, Corporate-, or Development Executive Chef. I am also excited about participating in hotel openings, rebranding projects, or redefining F&B concepts.

I am not simply looking for a new position but rather a professional environment that inspires, challenges, and enhances development—where I can create, innovate, and make a meaningful impact within the Food & Beverage industry.
